About Yoga

Yoga is a total system of positive health, balance and relaxation. It’s beneficial for all ages, male and female. Yoga improves stamina, fitness, concentration and keeps the body flexible and toned. It works on internal organs and regulates metabolism whilst improving the digestive processes. It can decrease tension, counteract stress, improve posture and help reduce excess fat. Yoga improves circulation and flexibility increasing joint mobility.

Tuesdays 6.15-7.35 (14-30 weeks)
Thursdays 6.15-7.35 (30+ weeks)

About Me

I gained a Traditional Yoga Association Diploma to teach general hatha yoga then gained further diplomas with Birthlight to teach pregnancy yoga and mother & baby yoga (baby yoga & massage together with post-natal yoga) and Well-Woman Yoga (promoting woman’s health for fertility, pelvic disorders such as endometriosis/polycystic ovaries and menopause) I also have studied Yoga for Depression. I teach safe and enjoyable classes of mixed gender, age and ability and also private tuition. I teach general Hatha Yoga, Birthlight Pregnancy Yoga and Birthlight Mother and Baby Yoga in Tilehurst, Reading, Berkshire. I specialise in the wellbeing that yoga has on the body (eg aiding digestion, strengthening core, promoting vitality) and advise how the postures are beneficial.
